Painter to Bangkok - Thailand
Thailand
Tatchakorn Sirawatcharadech, known as Jecks, is a Thai street artist born in Bangkok in 1992.
His works, which can be seen on numerous walls around the city, are inspired by observations of everyday life and the idea of humans as hunters, constantly in search of their dreams and desires.
Using earthy tones and Renaissance aesthetic elements, Jecks creates realistic figures equipped with warrior's tools to symbolise their quest for freedom.
Jecks' aesthetic is heavily influenced by the Renaissance, incorporating earth tones to accentuate the realism and precision of his work.
This unique combination of concepts allows him to create works that evoke both modernity and timeless themes of survival and freedom.
He has participated in various projects and festivals, such as the Pipit Banglamphu Street Art Festival, which aim to revitalise local communities through mural art.
