Zibe was a child of the 1980s and, like all children in Italy, he had a favourite sitcom - his was 'My Friend Arnold'.
The series told the story of two black brothers, Arnold and Willis Jackson, who were adopted by a wealthy businessman and taken away from the misery of Harlem to indulge in a bit of Manhattan, but that's another story.
Zibe is the kind of street artist known as a 'bomberz', repeating the same images over and over again.
Since 1994, Zibe has been storming the white walls of Milan and half of Europe with sprays, stencils, stickers and posters, resulting in an uninterrupted production of murals and wallpapers.
Since 2001, he has been carrying around his friend Arnold, who has gradually become a street art logo and the trademark of his work, as well as the TSO tag, an acronym for Compulsory Health Therapy, with which Zibe denounces the brutality of rehabilitation centres and the hypocrisy of civil society when it comes to drugs and narcotics.
