Jé Art, a self-taught painter from Nouméa, creates works that speak to the soul. Originally from Chartres, and having grown up in Saint Symphorien le Château, Jé finds his inspiration in the calm and intimacy of his surroundings, as well as in the childhood memories marked by the art of his aunt, Martine Nollet. His works, produced on a variety of media such as recycled swimming pool liner canvas or cotton and linen, illustrate realistic portraits imbued with modernity.
His technique adapts to the diversity of her tools, from acrylic paint to spray cans and Posca pens, capturing the essence of a variety of subjects, from female portraits to manga characters. Known for his live painting performances, Jé Art fuses his passion for music, martial arts and visual arts, finding in painting the concentration and calm taught by karate. A dreamer, he aspires to share his art and encourage everyone to believe in their dreams.
