Mathieu Venon is a self-taught visual artist based in Noumea since 1996. He masters several techniques, including painting and sculpture. His inspirations are the world and his life experiences, which diversify his works. Each of them has a personal dimension. This passionate and exciting artist shares his art with all those who are interested.
Mathieu's artistic approach is quite personal. Through paintings with tribal overtones, he illustrates life experiences, memories and landscapes, for example. When it comes to sculpture, he tends to be inspired by shapes, elements that he collects such as coconuts, or by animals and characters.
