Juilee Pryor is a street artist and an abstract artist from Sydney, Australia.
Pryor is most well known for her large-scale mural artwork in Sydney and its inner-suburbs. She has been an active artist since 1982, her most recent work being in 2015 with a set of prints
Juilee Pryor is a bold yet eccentric Artist who has exhibited extensively for nearly 30 years and while she has a reputation as a painter her real love is the art of catching light in little boxes and turning that into meaning by way of darkly elegant and atmospheric photographs.
Pryor arrived in Sydney in the early 80’s from Adelaide to bring into being the legendary alternative artist facility Art Unit. Within the decade Pryor also helped usher in Street Art in Sydney by way of the iconic ‘I Have a Dream’ mural on King Street Newtown which she created with a little help from her friends late in the winter of 1992.
