Biography

Born in Belgium, Sophie Gilbert quickly immigrated to Australia and has travelled extensively ever since. She has been living in New Caledonia for several years now. Her inspirations are current events and the evolution of the world. She recycles materials she finds on beaches, such as plastic. Through her work, she also fights against discrimination, such as that against women, and against inequality and abuse in society.
