Black Keme, real name Antoine Indega Boubane, is a versatile artist from the village of Ethiolo, in southeastern Senegal, on the border with Guinea Conakry. Born on June 13, 1994 in Kédougou, Bassari country, he embodies the fusion of tradition and modernity in African music.

Passionate about music from an early age, he began his artistic journey by joining the Saint Joseph parish choir in Kédougou at the age of 13 in 2007. In 2009, Black Keme and a few of his friends founded the 9-member BFB (Bassari Flash Back) collective, which delighted audiences for a decade.
In June 2021, Black Keme, also known as Fils du Caméléon, launched his first solo single entitled "KRO ZEBNA" (Don't give up) in his local language O'nyane (Bassari), meeting with dazzling success. The song conveys a strong message, inviting Bassari youth to preserve their culture, wherever they may be, by drawing on their roots.
He proudly represented the Kédougou region at the Sunu Talents competition initiated by the Goethe-Institut, a pivotal moment that marked the start of his professional career. Following this competition, Black Keme launched his national tour project "CULTURE SUR SCÈNE", aimed at promoting and preserving Bassari cultural values.
In 2022, he was honored as an Ambassador of Bassari Culture, a title reflecting his dedication to preserving the cultural heritage of his region. And in 2023, Black Keme took the next step by touring France for the first time, exporting his music and culture beyond Senegal's borders. His journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the music and culture of his people, while fusing them with modern elements to reach an international audience.
