Jean-Marie Ganeval is a well-known sculptor who has been practising his art for many years now. Based in Noumea, the artist is keen to pass on his art and passion to those around him. He gives sculpture lessons, and doesn't hesitate to pass on his knowledge to adults and children alike. This approach enables him to find new talent and support it as it develops. At the same time, he exhibits his work in galleries and museums.

Jean-Marie's approach is to take his idea and turn it into a work of art. He works with three types of material: metal, stone and wood. He wants the practice of his art to be a genuine exchange between himself and the people who attend one of his courses, for example.
