Biography
Mathieu Taupenas, aka Swed Oner, is an artist from Nîmes who lives in the small town of Uzès (Gard). He paints remarkable black and white portraits. After working as an optician for 5 years, he decided to take his life in a new direction. For two years he travelled around the world taking photos, portraits and faces captured in Peru, Vietnam, Turkey, Algeria, Italy, Spain and many French towns. His photos are portraits of simple street people, 'faces', expressive faces.
