Artist Marissa started as the gallery’s director in 2006 where she brought with her a passion for interiors and a deep knowledge of framing artworks. Collaborating with talented artisans based in Aotearoa has become a true passion for this artist. This led her to buy the gallery in April 2011!

The Director continues to maintain her dedication to ORA’s established clientele while working closely with the gallery’s artists to share their backgrounds, stories and vision. ORA’s philosophy is to support New Zealand artists and artisans while bringing affordable art to all customers and visitors. This is a key element of ORA Gallery’s unique culture, reinforced by customer service.
