The Inter Wall is covered with a work by the Orticanoodles featuring Aida Accolla, created for "Inside", the artists' first solo exhibition in a museum space, at the Studio Museo Francesco Messina. Who is Aida Accolla? She was the muse of twentieth-century artist Francesco Messina and a star at La Scala in Milan. It's a tribute that follows on from those offered in the exhibition devoted to Carla Fracci and Luciana Savignano, subjects dear to the sculptor's heart, which the collective has taken up using its own pictorial language. The mural was painted using the spolvero technique and is characterised by numerous juxtaposed bands of colour, typical of the artists' style, from which emerges the face of the dancer, in shades of grey and pink, interspersed with flowers and plants, in a synergistic exchange between the human body and nature, recurring elements in the works of the Orticanoodles. The colours of the mural are truly impressive.
