Museu das Marionetas do Porto
Description

Porto Puppet Museum is a sober museum where old puppets and stage props from the adjacent Teatro de Marionetas are displayed.

The Contemporary Puppets: Creations and Discourses exhibition opened on 15 July 2020, following the basic concept of the exhibition project: the theatre/museum relationship, the creation of shows and the exhibition of pieces.

It includes the company's emblematic works (Miséria, Vai no Batalha, Óscar, História da Praia Grande, Teatro Dom Roberto, Os Amigos de Gaspar, IP5, among others), as well as new spaces created in a renewed dynamic with the public, namely the experimentation space and the children's space.

The exhibition offers a wide range of pleasures, capable of transporting you to another place, thanks to the exhibits, the accessories, the stories and all the activities on offer as part of a programme aimed at the general public.
