Description

This statue of Confucius was presented to the people of Queensland by the Ji'nan Municipal Government, Shandong Province, People's Republic of China, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Oucensland. It was unveiled by the Honourable Anna Bligh MP, Premier of Queensland, and Mr Wang Liang, Vice-Mayor of the Jinan Municipal People's Government, on 22 December 2009.
